Pressure Vessels and Food Processors Returned by China Customs

Weihai Customs recently returned two seized imported pressure vessels without required certificate. The rated working pressure for the two pressure vessels is 0.97 Mpa and the volume is 0.55 cbm. They are pressure vessels listed in Special Equipment Directory. In accordance with relevant regulations, the foreign manufacturers that export pressure vessels and other special equipment shall obtain Production Permit of Special Equipment from our country. 

On July 26, 2022, Wuxi customs which is subordinate to Nanjin customs, when carried on on-field inspection on a shipment with food processors imported by an enterprise in its jurisdiction found that the food processors had no CCC certified mark and the enterprise could not provide Certificate for China Compulsory Product Certification but the food processors were products listed China Compulsory Product Catalogue. The food processors ended up being returned to the exporting countries.
